Dr. Dan Craven re-established Crockett Veterinary Hospital in May of 1997.  The  business was originally
started in the 60's by Dr. Max Harkins, but had been closed down for a year after Dr. Harkins retired.  In
1999 Dr. Craven bought the name and the business and moved the business location to a newer part of
Crockett.  He built a brand new state of the art small animal facility with a separate barn out back for cattle
work.  In 2002 a separate horse barn with surgery room was added to facilitate the hospital's growing
hospital's growing  equine business.  Crockett Veterinary Hospital currently has 3 veterinarians on staff.  

Crockett Veterinary Hospital is a family oriented business.  We have a staff consisting of over 14 people
who make their home in Crockett and Houston County.  We understand and cherish the human-animal
bond and want to share this with our clients.  We strive to provide our clients with the best quality of
service.  

Julie Newton has been working at Crockett Veterinary Hospital since
1999.  She originally started as one of the office secretaries and is
now the office manager.  Julie was born and raised in Houston
County.  She is married to George Newton and has two children.   
She enjoys working and is dedicated to making our clients happy and
satisfied with our services.  

Stacey Durrett-Lacky was born and raised in
Crockett.  She is one of our newest employess.  
Stacey started working for us in April.  She has 2
children, and several animals.  She enjoys working
at Crockett Veterinary Hospital because of our
dedication to providing excellent care to all animals.

Brittany Tullos has been working with us for about 1
year.  Brittany was born and raised in Apple
Springs.  She has one special dog named Cash.  
Brittany enjoys working at Crockett Veterinay
Hospital because of all the good people she meets
every day.

Deana Hill has been working as a secretary with
Crockett Veterinary Hospital for over 4 years now.  
She was born and raised in Crockett.  She enjoys
being around animals and has 3 family dogs and a
horse.  Deana enjoys working at Crockett Veterinary
Hospital and interacting with people from all over
the county.  

Dana Bobbitt  has lived in Houston County for over
5 years and has been working as a secretary at
Crockett Veterinary Hospital for over 3 years.  She
previously worked in Houston before moving here
where she worked in another veterinary hospital for
10 years.  She is married and has 3 children.  Her
family also includes 5 family dogs and 4 horses.
